During his time at New York Chiropractic College, Dr. Jake was awarded “Student of the Year”, as well as awards for Distinction in Basic Sciences, Distinction in Diagnostic Imaging, Distinction in Diagnosis, and Distinguished Service. Dr. Jake had the pleasure of serving as the Co–President of the Sports Science and Human Performance Club and as his class’s President. Prior to attending New York Chiropractic College, Dr. Jake attended Binghamton University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Anthropology.

Dr. Jake is full-body certified in Active Release Techniques® and a certified FAKTR provider, both of which he utilizes in the treatment of neuromusculoskeletal conditions. Additionally, Dr. Jake is certified in the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) and is a Functional Range Conditioning mobility specialist (FRCms). The SFMA is a full body movement analysis that looks at movement patterns in individuals who have musculoskeletal pain with the goal of identifying meaningful dysfunctions that may or may not be related to the patient’s chief complaint. FRC is a revolutionary system of mobility training based in scientific principals and research. By observing the fundamental patterns of movement and having a mobility-based system to correct movement dysfunction, Dr. Jake is able to focus his efforts on getting you out of pain faster and ultimately helping you move more sufficiently and efficiently.

He is an avid learner and has completed extensive postgraduate seminars in the latest sports medicine and manual therapies. Dr. Jake prides himself in providing his patients with only the most-up-to-date, evidence-informed techniques. His desire is to excel in all areas of manual medicine and rehabilitation keeps him at the leading edge of his specialty.
